Friends of Windsor Music is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting music education and the performing arts for children and young people across Windsor and Maidenhead. Through grant-making, we help organisations deliver inspiring opportunities that encourage creativity, learning, and artistic development.
We believe that every young person should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of music, dance, and drama, regardless of their background. By supporting schools, community groups, and other organisations, we contribute to a strong local arts ecosystem where young people can discover their talents and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Friends of Windsor Music is committed to supporting the full age range from first school to sixth form as part of a local ecosystem for the arts, and has the extraordinary privilege of watching the young people come through the state school system, and flourish in their love of music and performing.
Music education enhances cognitive abilities and emotional intelligence, providing students a platform for self-expression and collaboration that fosters a sense of community
